Jeffrey has been teaching talent for 20+ years; film acting, improv, character development, cold reading, audition skills, commedia dell arte, theater games, protocol on the set, marketing, diversification and environmental theater.
Jeffrey has played in over 100 professional film, television and stage productions. He co-stared with Clint Eastwood (Pale Rider), Michael J. Fox (Back to the Future 2 & 3), John Lithgow (Twilight Zone Movie) and many others. He collaborated with legendary directors; Catherine Hardwicke, Greg Araki, George Miller, Robert Zemekis, Amy Heckerling, Mark Rydell, Oz Scott, Louis Malle, and others.
Jeffrey got rave reviews as winemaker Jerry Hannon in the mockumentary, “Corked.” And he recently completed work on several short films, "May You Not rest”, “Bottle Caps” and "Shadow Angel", and the indie features,“Two Mothers” (with John Heard), “American Disciples” and "The Stranger Among Us."
Jeffrey has directed several films, videos, live events and stage productions. He's helped writers develop dozens of screenplays and projects, paying close attention to detail, character development, logic, story arch and upping the stakes.
Jeffrey trained at ACT, SFSU and elsewhere, and he was chosen by Martin Breast (Scent of a Woman, Beverly Hills Cop) to screen test for the lead in "War Games", which brought him to a Hollywood career that gained him many amazing opportunities to work on professional film sets. He now lives in the Bay Area, continuing to work in film, television and live projects. He has taught at Sonoma State University, Dominican University, SF SOTA Academy, privately for members of Teatro Zinzani, film schools, and he's spoken in seminars at SAG Conservatory, TBA's ATLAS Program, AZFAM Film Expo, Norcal Screenwriters-Film Makers & Actors Expo and others.

Gary Grossman, Actor / Instructor
Gary has been involved in his passion for the theatre since the tender age of 14, where he debuted in The King and I. He has taught acting at the Academy of Art University, as well as San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, Marin Shakespeare festival and runs the Acting department at the East Bay Center for the Performing arts. He has completed his MFA in acting at Cal State University Long Beach, where he performed in the world premieres of The Dante Club”, as J.T. Fields, and in Panama, as Grandma at Cal Rep.
Since coming to the Bay area, Gary has taught at Berkley Rep, Sonoma Rep, Marin Theatre Company and has designed a curriculum to teach drama techniques to at-risk teens in Marin county for Alter Theatre. Gary has also performed and taught at various improvisation comedy groups, including starting a company called Total Improv for Kids, which taught improve techniques to students aged 10-17.
Darcy Marta, Actor / Instructor
Darcy Marta is an award winning Actress, Director and Producer who has worked professionally in theater, film and television and as an instructor for over 35 years. While she worked professionally as an actress in film and television she kept her roots alive in theatre by directing, acting and producing shows in Los Angeles and New York City. She was a founding member of the 'Friends and Artists Theatre Company" and she was Artistic Director of the "Inside Art Theatre Co." in NYC - a theatre company dedicated to supporting grassroots charities through theatre events. Some of her charities included: the National Alliance of Breast Cancer Association (NABCO), The Riverkeepers, and the Twin Towers Orphan Fund.
Darcy was also involved behind-the-camera in video production filming live event shows and documentaries for various production companies with her favorite being Facer Productions documenting Elton John's Aids Foundation Charity events.
While Darcy was busy working in the entertainment industry she has also always been teaching. She has taught acting classes in Los Angeles and the Bay Area as well as in New York City at the Lee Strasberg Institute and at New York University. Many of her students are now working professionally themselves. "It is always exciting for me to see one of my students appear on a TV show, in a film, in print or on stage. I love teaching it is one of the most rewarding developments of my career".
